Meaningful Days helps you build routines that move you forward towards your ambitions in small steps every day. These habits can — over time — lead to significant outcomes through the compound effect.

comes together.

Pick an ambition, attach a few habits, and start tracking. The walkthrough below gives you an overview how to use the app.

Pick an ambition that matters to you.

Start with something you care about — health, learning, a relationship, a craft. Navigate to the Your Ambitions screen and use the + button to add an ambition for it.

On this screen, you can also:

  • reorder your ambitions by dragging the cards (the order of habits on the tracking screen will follow this ordering)
  • archive ambitions when you no longer need them

Fill your ambition with life.

You can edit an ambition and add habits to it by tapping the respective card on the Your Ambitions screen.

Add small habits that, if repeated consistently, will help you make progress towards your ambition.

On this screen, you can also:

  • edit the title and description of this ambition (by tapping on them)
  • edit the appearance of this ambition and its associated habits (by tapping on the icon)
  • reorder the habits by dragging the cards (the order of habits on the tracking screen will follow this ordering)
  • archive habits when you no longer need them

Let the app help you.

If you are unsure how to get started, you can select one of the presets from the dropdown menu when adding a new ambition.

Make sure to tick the checkbox on the last page of the wizard if you also want a set of predefined habits to be added to your ambition automatically.

Define what you want to track and when.

You can edit a habit by tapping the respective card on the Edit Ambition screen. On this screen, you can:

  • edit the title and description of the habit (by tapping on them)
  • define whether you want to track simple completion, a number of repeats, or a duration
  • specify on which days of the week or month you want to pursue this habit
  • set an optional reminder for this habit

Start tracking your habits.

On the app's Tracking screen, you see a list of all the habits you've scheduled for the selected day. You can track your progress using the completion controls on the right side of the cards:

  • a single tap increments the count or marks a simple-completion habit as done
  • a double tap sets the count or time directly to the habit's target value
  • tapping and dragging up or down adjusts the count or time
  • for habits where you track time, you can also start a timer by tapping the small play button
