Meaningful Days is designed with your privacy in mind. The app works entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Specifically:

  • No account or registration is required.
  • No usage analytics or tracking is performed.
  • No data is transmitted to external servers.
  • No advertising identifiers are used.

Data Storage & Security

All data you enter in the app — habits, whys, and tracking history — is stored locally on your device only. No data is ever transmitted to external servers, so no network encryption is required or used. The data is protected by your device's own security mechanisms (e.g., Android's app sandbox and file-system encryption where enabled by your device).

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can delete all app data at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the app (removes all data permanently).
  • Using Settings → Apps → Meaningful Days → Clear Data on your Android device.
  • Deleting individual habits or whys directly within the app.

Meaningful Days does not create user accounts. There is no account to delete.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties.

Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions:

  • Notifications: To send you habit reminders at times you configure. Notifications are optional and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.
  • Exact Alarms: To deliver reminders at the precise time you set.

These permissions are used solely for the functionality described and nothing else.

Third-Party Services

Meaningful Days does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
